Home of all things disability at Bradford City FC

Team Info

If you are Bradford City mad then be a volunteer!!    The community foundation volunteer scheme is an opportunity for disabled adults and juniors to be involved within Bradford City FC volunteering on match days and helping to support other disabled fans, they are also involved in a number of activities working within the wider community groups that surround the club supporting charity fundraising, events and raising awareness of the benefits of disability sport and being active within the local community.

They have carried out varying activities including bucket collections, distributing leaflets, selling badges and scarves at the ground as well as supporting the club offering volunteer services to get the ground ready for match days and one off projects such as the scarf parade where over 80 people helped hold scarves around the pitch side for the start of the game.

Some of the volunteers are just there match days and to support one off projects or events while others have regular volunteer spots within the club and the community foundation.  the work they have done has raised the profile and awareness of disabilities as they are recognised throughout the club and community being considered ambassadors of all the great elements of the inclusion of those with disabilities within sport and the wider community projects, they are there to support and help and will always have smiles on their faces.
